As our planets ecosystems and natural biodiversity continue to degrade, Trees for the Future is creating a solution to the root cause of environmental degradation, poverty, and hunger through empowering agroforestry practices and agricultural development.

Their work is currently focused on transforming agricultural practices throughout 5 countries in Sub-Saharan Africa by training these communities of farmers over a four-year period to revitalize their land and create self-sustaining, productive farms.

Our contribution helps farmers plant thousands of trees that protect and bring nutrients back to the soil, grow a variety of fruits and vegetables, and optimize the productivity of their land. These farmers gain the education and skills to restore their environment and establish permanent income, nutrition, and food security for their families for generations to come.

Since 2015, Trees for the Future has worked with over 10,000 farmers, planted over 43 million trees in the last 5 years, and have offset over 2,400,000 metric tons of CO₂.
